Project Summary
This multiyear program includes several subprojects evaluating a key aspect of ecosystem-based forest management (EBM): whether biological communities in burned and harvested areas eventually converge. Using high-resolution tools, AI, and aerial imagery, we measure vegetation structure, composition, and recovery across large areas. Vegetation mapping, to be completed by the end of 2025, will inform restoration practitioners and support effective revitalization planning.
