Project Summary
This plan is a framework to consider the impact of land-use decisions on agricultural land. Policy Area 1 protects rural agriculture. Area 2 relates farming to other land uses, such as extraction. Area 3 relates farming to growth areas. Area 4 relates to the expansion of agriculture in urban areas. In 2022, the Government of Alberta approved alignment of its plans with RAMP by Dec 20, 2024.
