To create the plan, you gather suggestions for individual and group projects from 10 small discussion groups. These correspond to the Ten Themes of Sustainability. If you do this in one workshop with 10 breakout groups, you will need 10 discussion leaders. Or you can do it in two workshops with five breakout groups and use fewer discussion leaders. With a bit of lead time, participants will have prepared themselves for the discussions and have good ideas. After the workshop you use a template to write the climate action plan and give it back to the school, community, business etc. BEC Canada can give you a manual and advice. You can help people and organizations take direct action on climate change.
